How it works

The Damages Advocate application makes it very simple for you and your staff to enter case data and obtain a preliminary report.   Personal Injury, Wrongful Death and Employment Law all work in a similar manner.

A simple navigation system takes you from case identification to report in 8 easy steps:

  1. Case Setup
  2. Retirement / Life Span
  3. Employment
  4. Dependents
  5. Household Services
  6. Medical Expenses
  7. Other Damages
  8. Calculation Options

Damages data is an important part of the damages calculation and Damages Advocate includes the following integrated databases:

  1. Bureau of Labor Statistics
  2. Ciecka Donley & Goldman
  3. Hunt, Pickersill & Rutermiller
  4. Median Years to Retirement
  5. Skoog & Cieka
  6. Dollar Value of a Day (DVD)

The navigator takes you step-by-step through the process of entering data, integrating Damages databases and generating reports.

The schedules are intelligent and display on the inputs and data needed at that step in the process.

Data that still needs to be input show up in red with a STOP sign so no critical data is left out.

There is a comprehensive help file that give you all the information you need to complete the damages calculation.

You may select the appropriate calculation options based on your opinion, law and jurisdiction.

When are you done with data input and selecting what databases you want to use, you generate the damages calculation report (in World, PDF and Excel).
