As an avid reader, I always have a pile of great books on my desk, eager for the next opportunity to soak up their wisdom. This is why I love Brian Johnson’s Philosophers Notes. Many years ago, I listened to the first one hundred notes (it took me a year!). These book summaries are 20-minute MP3s and 6-page very practical PDFs, which provide the best “takeaways” from some of the greatest personal growth books and thinkers the world has ever known. Each of the ‘notes,’ as Brian calls them, will inspire, and empower you to be the best version of yourself. With our busy and crazy lives, it’s simply not humanly possible to read them all, yet the wisdom they contain should not be missed. Philosophers’ Notes are more wisdom in less time!

By combining ancient wisdom from the likes of Socrates with modern science and practical tools, Brian has packed a massive amount of knowledge into these summaries.: Deepak Chopra; Stephen Covey’s Stephen Covey’s 7 Habits of Highly Effective People; Dr. Wayne Dyer’s Power of Intention; Secrets of the Millionaire Mind by T. Harv Eker; and The Power of Now by Eckart Tolle to name a few of the HUNDREDS of summaries. Brian gives a summary of each that includes their key messages like a ‘sampler’ of wisdom. This is a perfect way to learn enough, find the authors you want to read more from, and free up your time to go deeper into the stuff that really inspires you.

As you read the Philosophers Notes, you will see how many of the big ideas and key concepts are common throughout hundreds of summaries. By linking the common lessons and themes together, Brian provides the practical steps for each of us to become the best version of ourselves.

Be the Best Most Heroic Version of Yourself

After seeing the power of Philosophers Note, Brian was inspired to build on his library of ‘Notes’ and create a new platform called Heroic. The idea behind it is that if each of us could use this knowledge to become the best, most heroic version of ourselves we can change the world one person at a time. Brien’s goal with Heroic is to provide a tool to help us move from theory, to practice to mastery in both the ancient and modern arts of self-improvement.

Optimum living is closer for all of us with Brian’s platform, which includes principles of positive psychology, the science of happiness, spirituality, self-development, and financial abundance to build ourselves up from practice level to mastery.

Brian believes the times we live in are some of the most challenging in history. And because of these challenges, there is more pressure than ever for all of us to show up and make a difference, not only in our lives, but in the world. Brian wants to empower you with the best knowledge and tools from human history so you can show up as the “best, most heroic version of yourself”.
